Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. holds training in processing food and beverages using red ginger as its basic ingredient. It is held in North Jakarta from Tuesday (9/25) to Wednesday (9/26) and participated by 100 people from PKK cadres and farmer groups.

Jakarta KPKP Dept. Head, Darjamuni mentioned, this training which is held at Radar Pembangunan RPTRA, Rawabadak Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, is done to grow new business in food and beverage field.Urban Farming Products will Go Online
"This training is done to follow up North Jakarta musrenbang outcome," he said, Wednesday (9/26).
He explained, red ginger can be processed into candy, sweets, sponge cake, oatmeal, roseja fresh drinks, caramel sauce pudding, cookies, bangket cake, syrup and peanut enting-enting.
He hopes participants can gain more knowledge and skills about food and beverage variations from red ginger ingredient through this training and develop it to be a business.
"We hope this training could increase PKK cadres and farmer groups income," he mentioned.
